Hyundai has released a new teaser for the upcoming new Grand i10. The next-gen hatchback will be first launched in India, followed by the rest of the world.
Hyundai is launching the second-gen new Grand i10 on the 20th of August. The Grand came in as a replacement to the regular i10 back in 2013. Since then, it has just received cosmetic upgrades and new features.
Now, Hyundai has teased the new Grand i10 with a video and has called the hatchback, an ‘Athletic Millennial’. Sure, the hatchback was a popular car amongst the millennials because of its sporty yet simple design.
The new Grand i10 will see a lot of new updates including the dimensions, new feature additions and a lot of cosmetic upgrades. Also, it will be a global launch and will first come to the Indian market.

The spy shots suggest that the New Grand i10 will be a bit bigger and will get a larger cabin. The ground clearance will also be increased by a bit, but the overall silhouette of the i10 will remain the same.
Cosmetic upgrades will include sharper LED headlamps, LED DRLs, Hyundai’s new cascading grille design and revisions to the front and rear bumpers. The spy shots indicate that the new model will sport a new set of alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, we may see a new colour treatment on the dashboard. New features might include the Blue Link technology from the Venue in the new grand i10. Along with a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the new model will once again be the most feature equipped in its segment.

The new Grand i10 will be the first model from Hyundai to come with BS-6 compliant engines. The 1.2 Litre petrol and the 1.2 Litre diesel engines will be continued as well. We can see the new AMT gearbox from the Santro in the upcoming hatchback.
Expect the new Grand i10 to start off at around Rs 4.9 Lakhs going up to Rs 7 Lakhs and will continue to rival Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Tiago and Ford Figo.
