Marui SPresso and Kia Seltos are the brand new contenders entering the top 10 selling cars for October. Both have recorded more than 10,000 units sold.
Kia Motors is seeing great success with its first launch in India, the Seltos SUV. The booking figures have crossed 60,000 in just months of its launch. However, due to proper planning and decent production capacity, the waiting period is between 15 days to 3 months.
On the other hand, Maruti‘s latest launch has also picked up its pace. The Maruti S-Presso is a funky-looking SUV-cum-hatchback. Both of these cars have already made it to the top 10 selling cars in October 2019.

Shockingly, Hyundai’s best selling model, the Grand i10 is seen nowhere in this list. Usually, the Creta also manages to make it to the list, which has also been cut out for October. So, we have one Kia, one Hyundai and eight Maruti cars.
Maruti Dzire has secured the first position with 19659 units sold, and Swift at second with sales of 19401 units. The third position is taken by Maruti Alto with sales of 17903 units. Usually, we have WagonR at the fourth position, but for October, it is the Baleno.
The fifth rank is taken by Hyundai i20, reporting 14683 units sold. Further, Kia Seltos and Maruti S-Presso have managed to overtake Vitara Brezza and Maruti Eeco for this month. The newcomers have also managed to put the Hyundai Venue out of the list which has retained its name in the list since its launch.

Meanwhile, Maruti has managed to return positive sales for the previous month. During the festive season, Maruti grew by a small yet decent 4.5%. In the coming time, we are expecting a further increase in the sales provided there will be heavy discounts on BS-4 vehicles in the coming months.
