on

First complete spy shots of Suzuki Gixxer 155 have been leaked online. The updated naked motorcycle is scheduled to launch in the Festive season this year.

At the launch of Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, the officials confirmed that its naked version will get the same engine. The launch was scheduled for the festive season, that is by August-September.

Ahead of the launch, fresh spy shots of the Suzuki Gixxer 155 have been leaked. In these shots, the entire bike can be seen, giving us an idea of how will it look when launched.

The fuel tank has been beefed up to a good extent. The headlamp design is revised and looks a bit similar to that on the Intruder. It now gets split seats, in the same way, that comes on the new SF.

The Gixxer looks a lot more muscular now. Rest of the styling bits like seats, alloy wheels, exhaust muffler and tail are the same that come on new SF 155. The absence of the side fairing differentiates it.

The 155cc Gixxer is most likely to get LED headlamps, LED tail lights and a fully digital instrument console, like on its fully faired version. It is unlikely to come with BS-6 engine at the time of the launch.

The Gixxer 155 will continue with the same 154cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, but with fuel injection. The engine will produce 14.1 BHP and 14 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension will be handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Single-channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes will be offered, while a front disc brake with ABS will come as standard.

Meanwhile, we expect the Gixxer 250 to get a similar but more aggressive styling. In case of SF 250 and SF 155, the latter got the inspired styling from the SF 250. It can be the same scenario for the naked Gixxer 250, which will be launched by Festive Season itself.

It will be priced lower than the SF 155, expected around Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ V3, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Hero Xtreme 200R.
