Tata Nano GenX Launced; Exciting Offers For Those Planning To Upgrade From Their Old Nano Models

Tata Nano GenX launch is just around the corner, and today, Tata Motors have announced the launch of an exclusive campaign for all existing Tata Nano customers. The new Power of 1+1 programme enables current Nano customers to become the first to own the new GenX Nano, which will come with the much publicized Easy Shift (Automated Manual Transmission) that a host of other new features. Through this scheme, current nano owners will be offered the best value for their old Nanos, along with a special bonus of INR. 20,000. Additionally, Nano customers can also enroll into a referral programme that could help them win a cash prize of INR 5,000 for every referral.

Launch

Tata Nano GenX has been launched at Rs. 1.99 Lakhs for the manual and Rs. 2.69 Lakhs for the AMT variant. Check out 2015 Tata Nano GenX price list here.

Fuel Mileage

The Nano GenX Easy Shift (AMT-equipped model) will have an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 21.9 km/l.

Cosmetically, the Nano GenX gets a host of upgrades, which include- new bumpers, smoked lens for the headlamps, new colour options, new design for the instrument console and a new steering wheel. The GenX also gets an open-able hatchback.

Features

The Nano GenX will come with power steering and an AMT for the high-end variants. This is sure to make the car a lot more easier to drive on congested streets of our cities. The car also gets a boot-capacity of 110-litres and a fuel tank of 24-litres. The Nano GenX will go on sale in XE, XM and XT trims.

Specification

The new Tata Nano GenX gets the same 624cc, twin-cylinder, petrol engine that powers the old Nano. This engine belts out a maximum power of 38 bhp and a peak torque of 51 Nm. The top-end variants of the Nano GenX get the Easy Shift AMT.
