Toyota Cars at Auto Expo 2018
New Toyota Vios Sedan

Easily among the most awaited upcoming Toyota cars in India, the Vios sedan could make its India debut at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018. The India-spec Vios won’t be totally like its international sibling. Instead, it will make use of the tried-and-tested Etios platform but will share plenty of design cues with the international Vios. Power options could includeย a 1.5 L petrol and a 1.4 L Diesel engine. This could be one of the most important Toyota cars at Auto Expo 2018
Toyota C-HR

Rumours suggest that Toyota could launch the C-HR in India. The manufacturer could end up showcasing this vehicle at the next Delhi motor show to gauge the response of the show-goers. In India, the C-HR, if launched, will rival vehiclesย like the upcoming Honda HR-V, Renault Captur and Nissan Kicks.
2018 Toyota Camry

The new 2018 Toyota Camry made its world debut at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. The Camry is underpinned by the same platform as the Prius. In India, the Camry is likely to offer both Petrol-only and Hybrid variants. The India-spec model is also likely to look a bit different. We have high hopes of seeing this car in the Toyota pavilion at the Auto Expo 2018.
Toyota Yaris

Another important model amongst Toyota cars at Auto Expo 2018 will be the Yaris hatchback. The Yaris could come to us as a Hyundai Elite i20 adversary. While it won’t come cheap, it’s likely to justify the price tag through its modern design and a long list of features. Its India launch is likely to take place by July next year.
Toyota Alphard MPV

Toyota might also get the Alphard luxury to the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. The new Alphard will share its hybrid powertrain with the Camry. It has a seating capacity of 8 adults and comes with many high-end features such as a panoramic sunroof and a high-end infotainment unit. Prices could start at Rs 20 Lakh, which will make this MPV pretty expensive. But the Alhpard is still likely to find enough takers here.
Toyota Rush

The Rush will lead Toyota India’s charge in the compact SUV segment which is currently dominated by Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport. Details on the same are pretty scare at the moment but it is likely the SUV will look similar to the photo above. Powering the Rush will likely be a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.4-litre diesel engine. Expect to see the car in India near the end of 2018 sporting a price tag of Rs 8 lakh – 12 lakh.

As you can see above, we are expecting as many as 5 new Toyota cars at Auto Expo 2018. Hence, it won’t be too wrong to say that the upcoming edition of Delhi motor show would be a really important one for Toyota. From the looks of it, Toyota is preparing a big onslaught of new cars that look very promising. Future seems only bright for the Indian subsidiary of this Japanese auto giant.
