Mahindra Scorpio N is an extremely popular SUV in the Indian market while the Toyota Hilux is an accomplished off-roading pickup truck that is gaining customers quite rapidly.
This Toyota Hilux-inspired Mahindra Scorpio N oozes ruggedness and adventurous vibes. Scorpio N is among the most successful SUVs of recent times with waiting periods stretching over 1 year for some trims in some cities. It combines the toughness of the veteran Scorpio and adds a modern touch to cater to a wider range of audience. On the other hand, the Hilux is a lifestyle pickup truck based on the mighty Fortuner. Both these have dedicated applications. But what happens when these two meet, at least in the digital realm?

Toyota Hilux-Inspired Mahindra Scorpio
This digital concept has been illustrated by autojournal_india on Instagram. It captures a unique concept of the Scorpio N finished in a shiny red silhouette of a Hilux and is being called the Adventure Edition. At the front, one gets to witness an off-road-focused bumper that has been cut out from the edges and there is an auxiliary LED light strip attached to it. That sits neatly just below the dual-barrel LED headlamps of the Scorpio N with blue background inside the cluster and a vertically-slated front grille finished in glossy black material.

However, the main attraction of this concept is the raised suspension setup and monstrous wheels. The side fenders are almost non-existent and the wheel arches could swallow a small bicycle. The wide tyres are specifically designed for off-roading scenarios with appropriate tread patterns to maximize traction on any surface. Similarly, at the rear, one could experience the butch stance with an open cargo compartment where the spare tyre is secured using harnesses.

The caption of this concept confirms that the designer has showcased various off-roading equipment including a twin-turbocharged V8 LS1 engine, long-travel pre-runner suspension, big off-road spec wheels to dominate any terrain, red paint job, racing seats, bull bumper, roll cage, full-length truck bed and trophy truck dimensions. All these combine to offer an imposing look to this unique concept which is reminiscent of something like a Toyota Hilux which feels quite indestructible in its construction and capabilities.
