However, with this new petrol engine, JLR has effectively reduced the entry price for the Range Rover Sport.
There has been some minor visual updates to the exterior of the Range Rover Sport for the 2019 model year. It gets a new sleeker looking grille with Matrix LED headlamps and DRLs. It also gets sequential illuminating turn indicators. The front bumper has been tweaked a little and sits lower than before to feed more cool air to the brakes. The sides remain largely the same but at the rear, the bumpers have been tweaked a little and now feature dual exhaust pipes on either sides. There are new wheel rim designs along with new Byron blue and Rossello Red paint options as well.
Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. said, “The success of the Range Rover Sport has been integral in driving demand for the Land Rover portfolio in India. The Model Year 2019 2.0 l petrol derivative should further increase the aspirational value of the flagship model at an attractive and exciting price.”
On the interiors, the Range Rover Sport comes with the new Touch-Pro Duo infotainment system by which the upper screen is for your infotainment and the lower screen features the climate controls and various other vehicle controls. It also comes with sliding panoramic roof, powered tailgate, three-zone climate control, park pack, cabin air ionisation, 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display and full color heads-up display.
