2019 TVS Wego with BS-VI engine spotted testing

2019 TVS Wego has been spotted testing under heavy camouflage. It might be testing with a new BS-VI engine. Wego comes with a 110cc powered scooter and sits below Jupiter.

TVS Wego was introduced in 2010 and it became an instant hit. Wego gave us a break from the smaller looking Scooty Pep and also the plain old looking Honda Activa. At that time, Wego squarely aimed against Activa. However, since the launch of Jupiter, the sales of Wego fell down considerably. Jupiter was more premium looking and offered more features in a similar price range. Meanwhile, here is a fresh spy picture of the 2019 TVS Wego. We believe that the scooter might be testing with the new BS-VI engine and an upgraded safety measure.

Under the heavy camouflage, we can hardly spot a couple of things other than the alloy wheels and tail-light design. The 12-inch alloy wheels are the same from the current Wego. The tail light design and turn indicators are also carried over from the current model. Reports say that the 2019 TVS Wego does not get LED tail light. The exhaust muffler is also the same as it is.
