With increasing petrol and diesel prices, car owners are always looking for cheaper options. Currently, a CNG kit is the best option for many Indian customers. However, even CNG prices have gone up lately. A new hybrid option also seems promising. Now you can install an EV Hybrid Kit instead of a CNG kit. IT is expected to cost around Rs 70,000. The new initiative has been started by the Indian government. The Minister of Commerce and Industry is said to be drafting a new policy about the same. It is now compulsory to include this new technology in many countries. Let’s take a new look!

CNG Kit To Be Replaced By EVHrbrid Kits

The new EV Hybrid kit will add a battery power unit alongside the petrol/ diesel engine. This battery will get charged while you drive your vehicle. This kit will essentially offer a better pickup and save fuel. As per the recent reports, with the new kit, you can get up to 30 – 35 percent more mileage for a petrol engine. A fully charged battery will allow you to travel up to 60 – 70 kilometers. After which, you can switch back to the petrol engine, till the battery is charged again. The new kit will work the same with a diesel engine. It is not designed especially for a petrol unit. It is fitted in a panel below the car (without any cylinder like the CNG unit).

The new EV Hybrid unit seems like a great initiative. It is being designed by KPIT. The popular company also helps to design electric vehicles for BMW, Nissan, Tata, and more. Many Indian companies (Bengaluru and Hyderabad-based) are also in the early stages of developing similar kits. This includes Revolo, Folks Motor, and altigreen. Since most fuel is burnt while starting a car. Sam is true for picking up speed after braking for any reason. The new battery power will help car owners save fuel by offering power while starting and during pickup. You will be able to easily install the EV Hybrid kit on any vehicle and run your car in an electronic mode for 70 kilometers.
