Known for her roles in superhits like Dangal and Badhai Ho, Sanya Malhotra has become yet another celeb after rapper Badshah to buy an Audi Q8
It looks like the Audi Q8 has suddenly caught the fancy of our celebs. Merely a week after rapper Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia aka Badshah purchased the luxury SUV worth almost Rs 1.4 crore, young actress Sanya Malhotra, too, has become the proud owner of the flagship SUV in the Ingolstadt-based car marque’s catalogue. Sanya has won plenty of accolades for her roles in superhits like Badhai Ho and Dangal. She was also seen in a lead role in Pankaj Tripathi-starring Ludo. Along with being a successful actress, Malhotra is also a trained contemporary and ballet dancer.

Congratulating Sanya Malhotra through a post on Instagram, Audi’s South Mumbai-based dealership posted,”Audi Mumbai South is ecstatic to have delivered the richly equipped, comprehensively connected & versatile Audi Q8 to @sanyamalhotra_ , one of our most promising actresses. Congratulations on your accomplishments and wishing you many memorable drives on your new Audi Q8.” The most expensive SUV in Audi India’s product portfolio is powered by a 3.0 litre TFSI petrol engine outputs a maximum of 340 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque. Even though the Q8 is costlier than the Q7, it sits lower and is even shorter. Overall, it’s a sportier offering than the erstwhile flagship.

As is expected from a luxury SUV, the Audi Q8 comes fully-loaded with hi-tech features such as an air quality package, 4-zone climate control with fragrance and ionizer, 10.1-inch and 8.6-inch touchscreen displays, 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, contour seats with massage option and HD Matrix LED headlights with 3D signature LED DRLs. The SUV also comes with a ‘natural language voice control’ feature that empowers the user of the vehicle to give various voice commands to the vehicle. The Q8 even provides its users with a handful of connectivity options via myAudi connect service.

With the purchase of the Audi Q8, Sanya Malhotra has become the third Indian celeb to acquire this flagship SUV. Before Badshah, Indian cricketer and Audi brand ambassador, Virat Kohli became the first Indian to drive home a Q8. He was provided with the exotic SUV by Audi India as a part of the skipper’s contract with the carmaker.
