This is the latest video where a group of thieves steals a Toyota Fortuner to commit other robberies. Fortuner is one of the most hijacked vehicles in South Africa. Part of the reason why it is so is due to it being a Toyota. Their engines are extremely reliable. That is a fact that is unequivocally accepted universally. Hence, the resale value of any Toyota product is higher than the other vehicles in the segment. Also, there is a huge demand for spare parts which is why the thieves are able to sell off the parts to make some money.

Man Steals Toyota Fortuner for Robberies
The video has been uploaded by Anton Koen on YouTube. It captures the details of this entire incident. As per the information in the first half of the video, these people are recognised thieves in the local area. In fact, some of the members of this group have long criminal records and were even allegedly involved in homicide. The video clip shows CCTV footage of them arriving in the stolen Toyota Fortuner into the driveway of someone. Two people get out of the SUV and try to uproot a generator from the property.

After trying for some time, they leave the scene without the generator as they are not able to break open the casing. Thereafter, the SNIPR OPS team gets the information that they were planning to steal from a retail shop in the Boksburg area. Hence, they decided to chase the Fortuner. After following the SUV for a while, the team decides to cover the thieves on the highway. They surround the Fortuner with their cars and catch them red-handed.

As seen from the video, the team pulls out guns to arrest the miscreants. They are seen getting on the ground in submission. Finally, the long chase comes to an end with the capture of these thieves.
