In a latest occurrence, social media is flooded with positive comments about the Kolkata cop who helped a distressed student to reach her exam centre on time. There are numerous stories these days pertaining to the struggles that students are going through in various parts of the country as board exams are underway. In one such case, a police inspector had to render his services to an unusual case to make sure that the student doesn’t miss her exam.

Kolkata Cop Helps Student Reach Exam Centre
The video clip has been shared by the Kolkata Police official page on Facebook. The post details the entire incident along with the photos of the cop and the student. As per the information in the post, Inspector Souvik Chakraborty, OC Howrah Bridge Traffic Guard found this girl asking for help as she was running the risk of being late for her exam. Watching this, Souvik approached her and asked what the matter was. She told him that she has her 10th board exam and wants to reach the exam centre.

She was alone because her grandfather had passed away recently and her family had gone to attend the funeral. She had to manage the entire situation on her own. However, since she must’ve been alone for the first time, she was struggling to keep up with time to reach the exam centre. Souvik informed his patrolling unit and created a green corridor for the uninterrupted movement of his official car. He escorted the girl to the examination centre and managed to reach the destination in time.
