Ford Service Continues Even After Ending Production
This post was shared by a Ford EcoSport owner named Sumit Sinha on Facebook. He, like many others, was a bit apprehensive about how the service experience will be after the company exited our market. To his amazement, he found the staff to be utmost cooperating. From the service technicians, mechanics to supervisors and managers, everyone was contributed to the overall service experience. Another doubt that people had was if the service personnel would charge some extravagant amount. That myth was also burst when the total cost of service came around the amount that was promised. All these are encouraging signs that people could still own a Ford vehicle without having to worry too much about the service.
Prior to being discontinued, the EcoSport came with the options of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine good for 120 hp and 149 Nm and the 1.5-litre diesel engine makes 100 hp and 215 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There are options of either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. It rivalled the likes of Nexon, Sonet, Venue, Brezza, XUV300 and more. It was also announced that the service and warranty of the company will also continue for quite some time. Ford also recently announced a recall for the EcoSport diesel variant for the DPF issue. This is yet another proof of the commitment of the company towards its customers in India.
