Hero Xpulse 200 Vs Hero Impulse

Hero Xpulse 200 comes as a better replacement for the flop show Hero Impulse. So, here are a few things that make it better from Impulse.

Hero Motocorp is finally launching the Xpulse 200 ADV bike this year. It was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo along with Xtreme 200R.

The launch has been delayed a lot but XPulse is still awaited in India. It mainly suffices for beginner riders who are just starting out for off-roading, touring trails and more.

Hero Impulse was another off-roader from the Hero stable. It was launched back in 2013 but was discontinued in 2017. Due to its poor sales over the years, the production of the bike was stopped.

Design wise, more or less, both the motorcycles look similar enough. Many styling cues are similar, because both are designed at dirt bikes.

If you look carefully, you might feel that Xpulse is slimmer than Impulse. No doubt, Impulse looked like a dirt bike, but Xpulse is even better at it.

Styling cues on Xpulse include beak-shaped mudguard, a tall windscreen, engine belly pan, knuckle guards and the typical dirt bike type seat.

One advantage that Impulse had was its high positioned exhaust muffler. The upcoming model also gets an upswept exhaust for high water wading capability.
