In this latest news, a Mahindra XUV300 driver was seen on a highway where he drags a bike underneath its wheels for 1 km! This is a case of hit and run and the driver had hit the biker just moments ago. It is simply shocking to witness people flouting the rules and road safety regulations so brazenly without fearing the consequences. Here are the details of this weird incident.

This news has been shared from Indrapuram in Ghaziabad by NavBharat Times on YouTube. The video clip shows the compact SUV plying on the highway during the night. Massive sparks are seen coming out of the front left tyre of the SUV. It looks like someone has put a firecracker beneath the car. However, paying closer attention reveals that the driver of the SUV is dragging along an entire motorcycle with him for about 1 km. The onlookers are shocked to see and are heard shouting and asking the driver to stop.

As per the information in the video, the driver had hit someone on the bike moments ago. The bike rider fell on the road and the driver of the SUV started driving away despite the bike getting stuck underneath its front wheels. The details about why he hit the biker are not available. People riding on the road made a video of the entire incident and asked the driver to stop. After one unsuccessful attempt, the driver came to a stop.

He was handed over to the Police and his image behind the bars has been doing rounds on the internet.
