So the new 2017 Honda City facelift is close to its launch. The web-space is already abuzz with news on the new model Honda City. Even we, at Car Blog India, have reported in enough detail on the upcoming Honda model. For instance, you can read about the differences in the new and old car in our New Honda City 2017 vs Old Model comparison. Basically, the new 2017 Honda City is much like the current car, but its visual appeal has been tweaked. Also, the car boasts a longer features list. Apart from this, in all probability, the new 2017 Honda City facelift will have re-tuned engines for higher power and fuel mileage.
We have always liked the way the City looks. Based on Honda’s ‘H Design’ theme, the City’s design is modern and suave. The facelift is a fresher version of this design. The front grille, which is in line with Honda’s latest design language, has been updated to look more premium. The headlamps, which get LED fixtures, look more premium. The top-end variants get LED headlamps, while all trims get LED DRLs. Apart from this, even the front bumper is new. The rear-end gets revised taillamps. These taillamps have a new motif and also carry LED fixtures. Apart from this, the bumper is new. The car carries a handful of chrome accents around the exterior body. There is also a new alloy wheel design on offer.
Much like the exterior, the interior of the 2017 City doesn’t get too many changes either. We’ve always liked the City’s interior. According to the official press release from Honda, the dashboard will get a new touchscreen AVN unit. This feature might even be available on the lower models. The upholstery will be new.
