Kwid Based Compact SUV (HBC)
Next up on our list of upcoming new Renault cars in India is the Kwid based compact SUV. Known internally by its codename, HBC, the upcoming small SUV from Renault will be a sub 4-metre offering. It will utilize the Kwid’s CMF-A platform. Expect the launch to take place in 2018.

Kwid-based Compact MPV
Yes, the Kwid will also give birth to a compact MPV. It will be based on the same low-cost CMF-A platform and will even have the same 1.0-litre engine that powers the Kwid 1.0. Prices will likely start at Rs 4.4 lakh. The top-end model will cost roughly Rs 6 lakh. It will offer 7 seats.

Kwid Compact Sedan (LBC)
Accompanying the Kwid based SUV will be a compact sedan based on the same platform. This upcoming Renault compact sedan might fall in the sub-compact sedan category.ย This particular segment, by the time the Kwid sedan enters production, will have at least two models in the form of the Tata Tigorย and Chevrolet Essentia.

Kaptur
Renault India will be looking to bolster its SUV portfolio with the launch of the Kaptur. It is one of the multiple SUV models on our list of upcoming new Renault Cars in India. The Kaptur will be a more premium offering than the Duster, which will help Renault take the fight to the Hyundai Creta. We expect the Renault Kaptur India launch to take place in the second half of 2017.

Koleos
The Koleos‘ innings in India has been miserable so far. However, all that could change with the launch of the new 2017 model. In its latest form, the Koleos looks much better and is bigger than before. It could prove to be aย serious rival to the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq SUVs. We’re expecting the Koleos to come to India by the end of 2017.

Megane Sedan/New Fluence
