  • This Tata Punch owner hits his car repeatedly to claim insurance.
  • The video is doing rounds on the internet exposing such foul practices.

In this latest video, a Tata Punch owner is seen hitting his car against a pole on the road deliberately in order to claim insurance. The rules around insurance can be quite funny at times. There are instances when the claims get rejected for any particular reason. In a bid to sort that out, people end up taking extreme measures. Intentionally damaging the car is considered one of these. Let us check out the details of this bizarre practice here.

The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. As per the information in the video, a Punch owner is seen crashing one side of his car against a pole on the side of the road. This is quite bizarre. But the real reason behind this seemingly stupid act is the fact that he is trying to claim insurance. His initial claim was rejected for some reason that mentioned that the damage is not enough. So, it was suggested to him that he hits his car a bit more to make the car eligible for a claim.

As a result, he is seen brushing it from one side against a pole. Note that he is doing this with such precision and care that only one side of the car would be affected. After a few rounds, there is a considerable dent on the door panel and the side body cladding has also come off. It looks like he has got the kind of damage that was needed to get the insurance claim.

Such practices are rather common. That is the reason why so many videos have popped up on the internet where people are seen destroying their cars. But one must understand that you might end up causing more damage to the vehicle in the long run than saving some petty amount in the insurance. You are better off paying for small damages yourself and taking the no-claim bonus instead. What are your thoughts on this?
