Kacha Badam sensation Bhuban Badyakar is a peanut-seller who shot to fame after his song went viral on the internet
It has come to light that earlier this month, Kacha Badam singer Bhuban Badyakar sustained some injuries to his chest in a road accident. The internet sensation was rushed to the hospital after the old Hyundai i10 he was driving hit a road divider and left Badyaka injured.

Itโs said that Badyakar had recently bought a second-hand first-generation Hyundai and he was learning to drive when he lost control and hit the metal median. Other than sustaining injuries in the chest area, he also suffered from gashes on his face. As the injuries sustained by the singer were rather minor in nature, he was discharged from the hospital after receiving first aid.
A friend of the Kacha Badam sensation revealed that Badyaka, who is a resident of the Kuraljuri village in Lakshminarayanpur Panchayat of Birbhum district, has put on hold all his professional commitments due to the accident. Until a few weeks ago, Badyakar used to earn an average of Rs 300 a day by selling peanuts in public transport. However, he shot to stardom as his song became a huge rage on the social media. Previously, he had commented that he never imagined his song would bestow him with celebrity status.

However, the song became highly viral on the internet after one of his customers shot a video of him singing โKacha Badamโ while selling peanuts and uploaded it on the social media. Soon after the song got viral, several show organizers and event management companies approached Badyakar and offered him to sing at shows. Also, he received Rs 3 lakh as remuneration from the music label that first remixed his original song. Soon thereafter, he upgraded from his bicycle to a 100cc motorcycle, and later, to a second-hand Hyundai i10. Recently, the singer was also roped in for a campaign by a political party. ย
