The off-roading capabilities of the Mahindra Thar are unparalleled in its price segment and this latest post proves that beyond any shred of doubt.
In this latest post, a Mahindra Thar is seen descending down vertical rocks. Thar is an immensely capable off-roader. The most appealing aspect of the SUV is the price segment it features in. That is the reason why people took such a liking to the product immediately after it was launched last year in its latest iteration. It still commands long waiting periods on some variants in some cities. Let us check out the details of this latest off-roading stunt.

Mahindra Thar Descending on Rocks
This post has been shared by thar_bengaluru on Instagram. In this video clip, a red Thar is seen on chunky rocks. The slope suggests that it is quite a vertical fall to the flat surface below. There are people around the SUV to direct the driver since this could go wrong pretty quickly. However, it looks like they are all professionals as the driver is able to descend the SUV, slowly but surely, on the rocks. In a matter of a few minutes, they are able to conquer the terrain and the Thar comes down without any issues.

While the details of this event are not available, we can advise our readers to never attempt such stunts on your own, especially with any other vehicle. These could turn ugly in a matter of seconds. Thar is an immensely capable vehicle but that doesn’t mean that you take it to such extreme conditions without any reason. Make sure to not push it beyond logic. Having said that, this incident certainly reflects the kind of abuse the SUV is capable of taking.
