In this festival of launches, we saw many new cars introduced in the market. However, the period is still not over and we have some more left. Mahindra XUV 700, the full-grown SUV is most likely to launch in the coming weeks. The costliest Mahindra SUV will take on the might of Toyota Fortuner, Honda CR-V, and Ford Endeavour. So, here we have the clearest images of the SUV till now. In these images, you can clearly see the interior and exterior of the SUV. You can read more about the XUV 700 here.
As you can see, the dashboard seems to be a bit cluttered, but premium. The dual-tone Grey-Tan colour combination looks good. Starting off with the steering wheel, it gets all the audio and voice controls with cruise control button. The hint of metallic shade on the steering wheel, makes it look sporty.
The MID Cluster looks upmarket with 2 analogue dials and a digital display in the front. The digital display will show the fuel range, speed indicator and more such information related to the SUV. Just beside the MID, it gets the rectangular AC vents and some knobs. It might be push start-stop button along with the headlamp levelling knob.
Moving on, it gets a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with some knobs below the system. The Mahindra XUV 700 will come with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay along with a 360 degrees camera. The touchscreen doubles up for all these functions.
The Mahindra XUV 700 gets a 7-speed automatic gearbox as seen in the spy photo. It will also come with a 6-speed manual transmission. The gearbox options will come with the 2.2 Litre diesel engine, that comes in XUV 500. The engine produces 187 HP and 420 Nm torque.
Overall, it looks like there are too many switches and knobs. Also looks a bit cluttered. At the same time, the premium quality of the dashboard is maintained.
Moving on the exterior portion, it looks very similar to the G4 Rexton. It gets a new front grille, LED DRLs, Projector headlamps, a front skid plate, and roof-rails. At the tail part, it gets huge LED tail lights, rear washer and wiper, a rear spoiler and a stop-lamp on the spoiler.
We expect the prices of Mahindra XUV 700 to start from around Rs 21 Lakhs and might go up to Rs 26 Lakhs. If it maintains this price range, then it would considerably beat its bitter rivals.
