Maruti hasn’t been vocal about the exact launch date of the Brezza Petrol. However, it is very likely that the Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol model will be launched by the end of 2018.

Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol Price in India

The Brezza Petrol is likely to go on sale in all three (L, V, Z) trims. There are very good chances that the Boosterjet Petrol engine would be imported into India. This could lead to a price tag that will be higher than that of the Diesel model.

Even though the Petrol Brezza would be slightly pricier than the Diesel model, it will still come across as a value-for-money product. The direct competition to the Brezza Petrol will be the Ford EcoSport EcoBoost model.

Thanks to turbocharging and a low displacement, the Boosterjet will offer high fuel mileage. The Vitara Brezza could have a certified mileage of above 22 KMPL.

The Brezza is currently on sale with just one engine. This Diesel engine is a Fiat-sourced 1.3 litre Multijet Diesel engine that has a max. power of 89 bhp. It has a peak torque of 200 Nm. The Petrol model will get a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine from the Baleno RS. This new 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine produces a max. power of 110 BHP and a peak torque of 170Nm. This engine will be imported into the country. The engine is likely to come mated to a 5 Speed Manual Transmission. The Boosterjet engine is a really modern unit. It should be a strong rival to Ford’s EcoBoost engine.

The front-end boasts a stylish radiator grille that was first seen on the iV-4 concept. The neatly sculpted bumper dials in some more aggression to the car’s front-end. When seen in its side profile, you will be quick to notice the clean surfaces and the stylish alloy wheels. It looks sporty and more stylish than many players in the market.
