With a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine, expect it to come with manual as well as AMT variants. Prices will range in-between INR 4.5 lakhs to INR 6.5 lakhs. 2018 Maruti Wagon R

The company believes that currently there is not a huge demand for compact 7-seater in India. And that it will launch the Wagon R MPV in India only if it sees a demand in this particular segment. Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol

However, company officials cited that the lack of demand in the lifestyle segment is stopping them to do so. However, if Maruti has to launch the new Gypsy, it is likely to do so by the end of 2019 or early 2020. It is likely to come with the same engine specifications as the Vitara Brezza sub-compact SUV.
