In a shocking incident, a Kia dealership had to replace a Sonet with a new unit after causing an accident while servicing. It is a widely known practice that the servicing staff at car dealerships often drive the cars carelessly in the workshop. It could be due to the hurry they are in as they have a lot of vehicles to service every day or for showing off their driving skills. In any case, there is always a risk of scratching the cars. However, things can get worse at times. That is exactly what happened in this case.

Kia Dealership Gives a New Sonet to the Owner
This information has been shared by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. One of his subscribers was at the receiving end of this unlucky incident. Having shared the details with Nikhil, the Sonet owner aimed to use social media to draw everyone’s attention to the matter. The CCTV footage of the service centre showed that the cleaner was driving the Sonet inside the workshop (which is prohibited). He caused an accident and the heavy damage to the compact SUV is evident.

Surprisingly, the dealership told the owner that the accident took place out on the road after the SUV hit an animal. Also, they asked the owner to claim insurance to cover the damage. That is when the Sonet owner approached the YouTuber to access the wide reach and caution the readers about this dealership. People replied in the comment section of the video that there is no question of claiming the insurance as the resale value of the car will be affected for no fault of the owner.

After witnessing how people were reacting to the matter, the Kia dealership offered to replace the Sonet of the owner with a new unit. It tweeted to relay this information to the general public to save its image. It worked well as people appreciated this bold step by the dealership to accept their mistake and fix it.
